She started at Hornsby the very first day it opened and has been going regularly a few times a week ever since. She looks forward to it which is amazing as other after school classes she has lost interest in. Her confidence has grown and the added discipline in all areas at the centre is just right and possibly what is missing in other activities and establishments. Also as a parent of two young girls it gives me peace of mind that they are being taught to be respectful, not to engage in violence, to find a way out of problems and to use their training as a last resort to defend themselves. I can’t recommend Master Rodrigo and the SJJA team enough and suggest if you have children to go check it out and even go for a trial lesson. My passion for health and fitness began as a young child gravitating to all things dance, sports, and martial arts. Having spent over 20 years performing, competing, and growing as a practitioner, I now love to motivate, teach, and encourage others to be the best version of themselves. Using the tools Acquired through formal qualifications (fitness, massage, rehab/flexibility) and the Martial Arts, specifically Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, taekwondo, and kickboxing, to promote a healthy lifestyle, while helping others improve there strength, focus, and self-confidence.
